Cramlington secured an undefeated round in Junior British Club League at Ormesbury

The second round of the Junior British Club League at Ormesbury took place on Sunday 16th November 2025 with Lewis Notely, James Notely and Elliot Weedy represented Cramlington in Division 2.

Round 2 consists of 5 matches against Brandon B, NETT C, Ormesbury 4, Darlington Dophins and NETT D.

Starting the day off, Cramlington faced the Brandon B team with Jamie Pattinson, Max Hancock and Gavin Zheng. Both James faced started the first match with James Notely taking the win 0-3 (5-11, 3-11, 7-11) and Lewis took on Max also taking the win 1-3 (11-7, 9-11, 6-11, 10-12). With a 2-0 leading the rest of the game saw Gavin and Elliot 3-0 (13-11, 11-7, 14-12), James and Lewis 0-3 (1-11, 7-11, 4-11), Gavin and James 0-3 (2-11, 6-11, 8-11) and finishing the game with Max and Elliot 3-1 (7-11, 11-9, 11-8, 11-7). Cramlington drew against Brandon B in the first round but managed to pull off a 4-2 victory this time round.

Second match, Cramlington took on Sam Macfarlane, Nate Merrill and Nathan Orton as NETT C. First game saw Lewis against Nate 3-0 (11-4, 11-4, 11-5) and James against Sam 3-0 (11-2, 11-2, 11-6) putting Cramlington 2 games ahead heading into the third game with Elliot against Nate 3-0 (13-11, 15-13, 11-8) making Cramlington 3 points up at the half-way mark. Lewis took on Sam scoring 3-0 (11-5, 11-2, 11-3) and Elliot took on Nate 0-3 (5-11, 9-11, 7-11) with NETT C taking a point off Cramlington. The last match saw James play Nathan 3-0 (11-4, 11-3, 11-5) giving Cramlington the win 5-1.

The next opponent for Cramlington in the third game was Hayden Cheung, James Findlay and Jesse Barnes as Ormesbury 4. This match started with Lewis versus James 3-0 (11-7, 11-5, 11-7) and James versus Hayden 3-0 (11-3, 11-3, 11-7) followed by Elliot verus Jesse 3-0 (11-6, 11-9, 11-4). Moving into the second half of the match with Cramlington leading 3-0, Lewis faced Hayden 3-1 (11-13, 11-7, 11-6, 11-7) and Elliot faced James 3-1 (7-11, 11-8, 11-6, 12-10) just leaving James to play against Jesse 3-0 (11-3, 11-3, 11-3) making the final score 6-0 to Cramlington.

Moving into game four, Cramlington had to take on Alfie Hunter, John Lyons and Victoria Chacel from Darlington Dophins. The game started with a game between Lewis and John 3-0 (11-8, 11-8, 11-6) placing Cramlington in the lead. The rest of the match saw James go against Aflie 2-3 (11-9, 11-8, 4-11, 11-13 8-11), Elliot versus Victoria 3-2 (11-4, 11-9, 6-11, 3-11, 11-7), Lewis taking on Alfie 3-2 (2-11, 5-11, 11-5, 11-7, 11-8), James versus Victoria 3-0 (11-3, 11-5, 11-5) and finishing with Elliot and John 3-0 (14-12, 11-3, 14-12) giving Cramlington the win with 5-1.

The final team for Cramlington was NETT D made up of Issac Foreman, Marcus Shaoyang Li and Junyang Murphy Zhang. James took on Issac 0-3 (5-11, 4-11, 6-11) first followed by Lewis against Marcus 0-3 (6-11, 5-11, 6-11) and Elliot against Junyang 0-3 (5-11, 7-11, 8-11). The last games of the day were Lewis and Issac 0-3 (6-11, 5-11, 6-11), James and Junyang 0-3 (5-11, 4-11, 6-11) and finishing with Elliot against Marcus 0-3 (0-11, 3-11, 1-11) scoring Cramlington a 6-0 victory.

Lewis Notely, James Notely and Elliot Weedy represented Cramlington in the first round of the Junior British Club League in division 2 at Ormesbury on Sunday 19th October 2025.

The day was made up of 5 matches against Brandon B, NETT C, Ormesbury 4, Darlington Dophins and NETT D.

First match of the day Cramlington faced off against Jamie Pattinson, Max Hancock and Gavin Zheng as Brandon B. The match began with Lewis against Max 1-3 (8-11, 9-11, 11-7, 8-11) and James and Jamie 3-1 (11-9, 11-6, 9-11, 12-10) giving both teams one game each. Elliot and Gavin played next with a extremely close game ending in 2-3 (15-13, 12-10, 8-11, 7-11, 11-13) putting Cramlington behind 1-2. The last three games saw Lewis go up against Jamie 3-0 (11-8, 12-10, 12-10), Elliot against Max 0-3 (8-11, 5-11, 6-11) and James against Gavin 3-0 (11-0, 11-6, 11-5) having the game finish in a draw.

Second match, Cramlington took on Matthew Niegowski, Nate Merrill and Flynn Payne as NETT C. First game saw Lewis against Nate 3-0 (6-11, 7-11, 13-11) and James against Matthew 3-0 (11-1, 11-4, 11-5) putting Cramlington 2 games ahead heading into the third game with Elliot against Flynn 3-2 (9-11, 11-8, 13-11, 7-11, 15-13) making Cramlington 3 points up at the half-way mark. Lewis took on Matthew scoring 3-0 (11-2, 11-3, 11-3) and James took on Flynn 3-0 (11-5, 11-4, 11-8) with NETT C taking a point on the last game with Elliot and Nate 0-3 (6-11, 0-11, 9-11) resulting in a 5-1 victory for Cramlington.

The next opponent for Cramlington in the third game was Ryan Hembury, Hayden Cheung and Alfie Bligh as Ormesbury 4. This match started with James versus Ryan 3-1 (11-9, 11-7, 4-11, 11-9) and Lewis versus Hayden 3-1 (11-8, 11-9, 8-11, 11-6) followed by Elliot verus Alfie 3-1 (7-11, 11-7, 11-4, 13-11). Moving into the second half of the match with Cramlington leading 3-0, Lewis faced Ryan 2-3 (11-4, 6-11, 7-11, 11-7, 11-9) and James faced Alfie 3-0 (11-2, 11-7, 11-5) just leaving Elliot to play against Hayden 1-3 (8-11, 11-9, 8-11, 10-12) making the final score 5-1 to Cramlington.

The rest of the match saw Lewis go against John 3-0 (11-9, 11-6, 11-9), Elliot versus Victoria 3-1 (14-12, 11-9, 5-11, 11-7), Lewis taking on Alfie 3-2 (9-11, 11-7, 11-6, 9-11, 11-7), James versus Victoria 3-2 (11-5, 12-10, 9-11, 9-11, 11-7) and finishing with Elliot and John 3-1 (11-9, 14-16, 11-9, 11-5) giving Cramlington the win with 5-1.

The final team for Cramlington was NETT D made up of Nathan Orton, Sharvil Gadre and Thomas Snowdon. Lewis took on Sharvil 3-0 (12-10, 11-5, 12-10) first followed by James against Nathan 3-0 (11-7, 11-2, 11-4) and a fantastic game with some amazing rallies between Elliot against Thomas 3-2 (10-12, 11-8, 11-13, 11-8, 11-8). The last games of the day were Lewis and Nathan 3-2 (11-9, 11-5, 8-11, 11-8), Elliot and Sharvil and finishing with James against Thomas 3-0 (11-6, 12-10, 11-4) scoring Cramlington a 6-0 victory.

The team played extremely well securing 4 wins and a single draw.
